This park worked out well for us. Basically it is a parking lot with only about 25 percent occupied. Close to Fremont experience and only a 10 minute drive from the strip. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed this camp ground and found the management excellent. You have to turn off the main road at north fork and there is only a small rv road sign pointing the way. Some pull through sites and some back in along the river. The management has many plans for enlarging and improving this camp ground so look for it to get even better. We arrived the day before Memorial day weekend without a reservation. They went out of their way to accommodate us even allowing us leave our rig in a non campsite location for the day so we could visit Sequoia before moving on. We would definitely stay here again.
This park is a fine park for over night or to visit the light house. There is a dump station and water available to empty and fill your tanks if needed. The park has several projects going on but they did not bother our camping. We saw several deer, rabbits and birds and had a nice walk on the beach. Keep going past the KOA to find the camp ground.
